Danielle is currently the Mathematics Lead Practitioner and Numeracy Lead at Acklam Grange School. She rose to popularity through her brilliant website, www.missbsresources.com, where she shares her outstanding lesson plans and know-how. Hundreds of thousands of teachers across the world benefit from her time-saving resources and bang-on insight. She authored the best-selling book, ‘Forty Pence Each or Two For One Pound’, is a respected member of the UK TES maths panel and an AQA maths expert panel member. Danielle is a powerhouse when it comes to making maths memorable and fun for all students.

First came to national attention during his NQT year for transforming the maths lessons at an incredibly challenging school in the North East of England. Recognised for having zero exclusions and high results, he was snapped up by a large Academy chain to share his magic with colleagues across a growing number of primary and secondary schools nationally. He is also in demand working at departmental levels, showing heads of department how to use data as a tool to make the teaching and learning better all round.

Ian is an Assistant Headteacher at St Teilo’s Church High School in Cardiff. Prior to his role in managing educational change, Ian worked in pastoral leadership as Director of Studies and as a highly successful maths teacher. He is the author of the bestseller The Perfect Maths Lesson and is passionate about breaking down what Ofsted wants and what your students need. His experience as a trainer, school leader, governor and author has taught Ian that, although no teacher is perfect, their lessons can be. His pragmatic advice brings out the best in teachers as the expert in their own classroom and are about learning and teaching as much as they are about surviving that dreaded lesson observation.


HELEN BLANCHARD Independent Mathematics Consultant and Former Ofsted inspector

Helen’s extensive teaching career included roles of mathematics subject leader, assistant head teacher and AST. She worked as a regional adviser with The National Strategies, before becoming an independent consultant. She is a mathematics subject expert for Ofqual, an accredited NCETM professional development lead and was an experienced Ofsted inspector. She is passionate about improving mathematics pedagogy and leadership of mathematics teaching and learning.
